Digital Photography Creeping into Our Daily Life

With improved image quality and advancement of digital technology digital photography is now quite an acceptable mode of photography even for professional news photographers.
With digital cameras embedded in mobile phones the concept of digital photography is creeping into our daily life. Easy to operate digital cameras are getting popular among the common users as well. Digital photos are easily adaptable and they can be viewed instantly. You can easily send them to friends via email, upload them on the web and burn an entire album to a CD or DVD.
There are several instances of digital cameras with wide range of high-end features in the market. But you need to make a check list before buying. Here are a few points that your checklist should include:
- Resolution: The more megapixel you have the better the resolution.
- Sensor: the size of the sensor does matter. The bigger it is the more it is capable of capturing the details of the view.
- Zoom: The requirement of zooming may vary depending on what type of picture you take usually. For general purpose use like party photos, family photos and others 3X optical zoom is sufficient. But for news professionals and wildlife photographers, cameras with higher zooming ability will be the best.
