Teenage is a growing up stage for your child-a time when she goes through a lot of physical and psychological changes. While she copes with them herself, she requires your trust, understanding and support too. You should remember that while your child is still a kid, she would never want you to treat her as one. While you have to be observant and vigilant, don’t be dominating or authoritative. Let her take her decisions and you can guide her in seeing its pros and cons. Be patient and calm with her. Let her know that you respect her privacy and space. However, make sure that she doesn’t take it for granted and give reign to her own free will.
